MY METHOD

| Believe it or not, ALL my work is done digitally, on the computer with a tablet and stylus, from start to finish. No real pencils or paper on ink or paint. All Digital. I use a Photoshop-Compatible program called Painter 9, which mimics the look and feel of traditional media. There are many advantages to this All-Digital approach to illustration:
- No cost for materials. I pass these savings onto my clients. - Instant transfer of sketches and finished drawings. Images are uploaded to my website at a confidential URL to ensure privacy. Clients do not have to worry about big attachments clogging their Inbox, because they download the work from my website after receiving the link that I send them. - Because the workflow is digital, I can make changes to the images without difficulty. Most projects are composed of multiple layers, meaning that, for example, I can draw changes into the background of an image without affecting the foreground. With that, I can guarantee Client satisfaction- no reasonable request for tweaks or alterations will be denied. - Images are drawn at lightning speed. No drying time for paint, no scanning, no hesitation. This allows me to work quicker, and I pass those savings on the Client. I could go on and on about the advantages. No limits on image dimensions. Lighting and other Special FX. No risk of damage to the original illustration- your images are bulletproof.
